Eldest daughter, Dr Neema, is a dental surgeon. She went on to earn her Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) from Western Australia. In addition, she has completed her postgraduate studies in Healthcare Management.
Neema is married to Dr Sharad Shetty, a cardiologist who completed his subspecialty training from Bombay University. He was awarded successive gold medals by the Mumbai University for topping both his General Medicine as well Cardiology examinations. After successfully completing his Interventional Cardiology fellowship in premier centres in Australia, Sharad has completed an advanced fellowship in cardiac and vascular interventions at the world renowned Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School in Boston, USA.
